Prepare
- Preheat your french press with hot water
- Grind coffee grounds with the coarseness of sea salt
- After 30 seconds, empty hot water from your carafe

Add your coffee
- Add 31 g. of freshly roasted coffee to your carafe
- Gently shake to evenly level the grounds

Pour water
- Pour over 140 g. of hot water (200° F) in a circular motion
- All the grounds need to be submerged

Let It, Bloom!
- Wait for 30 seconds
- Coffee grounds will become bubbly and increase in volume

Add more water
- Pour over 325 g. of hot water
- Add the lid and lower plunger just a bit till the mesh slightly touches water surface
- Do not push the plunger all the way down yet. :-)

Plunge and pour
- Press the plunger gently and slowly all way the down without applying extra force
- Decant your coffee into a favorite cup or a container
